Choices and Creativity

One thing I talk about ALOT when I am teaching Zentangle classes, is the idea that one must accept the past and move forward with what you have. There is no right or wrong with creativity, only choices. I'm a bit behind in posting the CSA artwork for the second week of February. Why does it seem that an hour has less than 60 minutes when you compare it to a to-do list? The Art of Looking Ahead

Last year I made the switch from a PC to a Mac and I will admit that it was a difficult choice to make but it has been even more difficult to embrace since I made the decision. I thought that when I switch to my new computer I would organize my files and all would be right with the world (at least my digital one). Unfortunately, to this day, I still have not gotten all my files saved to my new computer or at the very least, somewhere that I can find them. Why am I telling you this?

Of all the artists participating in the CSA program this year I am most excited to include Carmen Duran Zaleski. Growing up in the same small town in central Wisconsin, she and I have the longest history together. After graduating from high school, our paths took us in different geographical directions but we still have that common bond of our hometown. The years have passed since then but we have kept in touch using the power of the internet and the convenience of Facebook.
